When it is your child being treated, we believe you have the right to ask questions, expect the best outcome, and have your concerns heard and acknowledged. The quality of treatment available varies widely for children with plagiocephaly. One way to avoid pitfalls is to be aware of them. Print this page and use it for your research. Questions to ask:
Be very careful when selecting a clinician and treatment center. Look for experience, expertise and quality work. Ask them to present pictorial evidence of previous work, and if former patients are available for references. "Board Certified" in any specialty does not make one an expert in treating plagiocephaly.
