Cranial Technologies is one of very few companies involved with plagiocephaly that controls every step in the manufacturing
and treatment process. Our Clinical Reps educate medical professionals about our product and
treatment. When these medical professionals refer patients to us for evaluation and treatment, our
Patient Liaisons speak with the families to set up an appointment with
a Clinician. After the clinician evaluates the child and if treatment is recommended,
our Insurance Coordinators work to obtain an insurance authorization for treatment.
DOC Band® treatment starts when the Clinical Assistant takes
a set of photos. A plaster cast of the child's head is then obtained by the clinician. The photos and cast are
shipped to our manufacturing facility in Tempe for fabrication. Our Manufacturing Technicians custom make each
DOC Band for every child.
The finished DOC Band is shipped back to the clinic for fitting and regular follow up. All this time, the Front Office
Coordinators are providing excellent customer service to the families in the clinics and on the phone.
