We had never heard of plagiocephaly until our son Dylan’s two-month appointment with his pediatrician. I had to point out to the doctor that the left side of his head was very flat and concerning to my husband and I. She told us that it would go away by itself and to keep him off of that side. We did tons of tummy time and lots of repositioning with no success. I did a lot of research at that time on the Internet and came across Cranial Technologies Web site. Their helmets looked less intrusive and more defined than the other band companies. We also learned that they were the first ones to create the helmets and that they weighed the least of all of the others. With all of the stories posted out there of parents’ experiences, there was no doubt in my mind that CranialTech was the place for us.    

I made an appointment with CranialTech and packed up our car to make the 12 hour journey roundtrip from Sacramento to Pasadena. As soon as we walked in, I felt such warmth from all of the employees. Everyone made us very comfortable with their expertise and knowledge. I did not feel like just another patient. They treated Dylan like he was family. 

Dylan received his helmet at 4 months old and wore it for 7 weeks. He adjusted perfectly to it as if he didn’t even have the helmet on. The results are truly remarkable!! Now I can look at our son with no doubts about his head shape. All of the time, money, and energy have been worth it all. 

I will never forget the kindness and help that we received from the staff at CranialTech. This whole experience has a special place in our hearts. They really do reshape lives and for that we are forever grateful.
