What does your job entail? My day consists of evaluating head shapes and meeting with families. Part of the day I am meeting with parents and their babies to evaluate their head shape and the rest of the day I’m either adjusting or fitting their DOC Bands. I am able to use all different senses (i.e., tactile and visual) to aid in looking at the progression of each child’s head shape. What is rewarding about it your job? I love the fact that changes can be seen in a relatively short amount of time and parents are grateful for our help during a difficult situation. I also love seeing the happy faces of parents and children when they finish treatment. We’ve truly made an impact and “re-shaped” their lives—and that’s why I’m here. Why would you recommend CranialTech as an employer? Cranial Technologies is the leader of their field. This is a very unique avenue where you can tie your skills as a therapist and really learn outside the box. I’ve enjoyed working for this company because they have advanced my skills as a therapist and broadened my base of knowledge as an OT. |
